The 15-minute proximity Index

This started as my thesis project and then became a product of my company that I further developed in the last two years.

The Index shows a visual representation of the proximity of services in Italy .

The area is colored in green if every essential service can be reached within 15 minutes walking.

Three levels of aggregation are available: municipalities, località and hexagons. The different levels are shown zooming in or out.

In the hexagon level it is also possible to check the level of proximity of different categories of services.
